How do I recognize scam messages?
Scammers often try to lure users to external sites.
Typical warning signs
- "You need to click here to receive your money."
- External payment links
- Alleged confirmation pages
- Request to enter card details
- Request to enter a TAN
- Unusual time pressure
- Threat of account suspension
- Request to communicate via another messenger
How to react correctly
- Do not click on the link.
- Do not enter any data.
- Report the message via the three-dot menu.
- Block the sender.
If you have already clicked or entered data
- Change your HerMarkt password immediately.
- If you entered bank details, contact your bank immediately.
- Inform HerMarkt Support.
